Los investigadores estudiaron a 35 pacientes durante al menos seis meses, y cada uno realizó los ejercicios al menos una vez a la semana. </p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que los ejercicios en el agua pueden ser uno de los modos de ejercicio más útiles para un paciente con dolor lumbar\", escribieron los investigadores.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Además de los beneficios cardiovasculares y de fuerza, la natación es un ejercicio de bajo impacto. Movimientos como correr, caminar o las clases colectivas de fitness pueden ser muy traumáticos para la columna vertebral. Cuando realice este ejercicio, mantenga el tronco contraído y los glúteos tensos. Mueva los brazos y asegúrese de mantener una buena longitud de zancada. </p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paso lateral <strong>con semicuclillas</strong>. Con este ejercicio, imagínese sentado en una silla mientras da un paso hacia un lado. Levanta los brazos hacia los lados mientras das el paso. Cuando vuelva a la posición inicial, manténgase erguido con los brazos a los lados. </p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Caminata con patadas en los glúteos</strong>. Mantén los glúteos contraídos y tensos mientras realizas este ejercicio acuático. Lleva el talón hacia las nalgas e intenta llegar hasta tocar el talón. Ten cuidado de no arquear la zona lumbar.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Empuje y arrastre con tabla</strong>. Con una postura erguida, utiliza una tabla para empujar y tirar del agua. Asegúrate de mantener la tabla a medio camino bajo el agua, y tus hombros deben estar hacia abajo y hacia atrás. Alterne la pierna adelantada mientras realiza este ejercicio.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vuelos con brazos alternos</strong>. Colóquese de pie con una postura escalonada (una pierna hacia atrás) al realizar este ejercicio. Con una postura erguida y los brazos extendidos delante de ti, abre y cierra los brazos de uno en uno. Tenga cuidado de no rotar el cuerpo ni llevar los hombros hacia las orejas. Alterna la pierna adelantada.
